Default has anyone done the EIP BOV conversion on an audi a4 1.8t?

if so, are there any advantages with this kit over just a standard diverter valve? is it worth the extra 100 just for the BOV sound or should i just go with a DV? is there a difference in power? has anyone heard anything?

If you use a BOV for the "sound", that sound is it dumping metered air into the atmosphere. With that, your car will run rich, and you will burn out your cat.

Default when he says conversion kit it makes me think that it moves the MAF

to after the, what would then be bov. If that was the case then then he wouldn't run rich because it wouldn't be dumping metered air but way to much effort and money for noise IMO. If you want the noise just get an open element air filter but make sure that it has great heatsheilding otherwise you lose HP and can overheat the ICM if your nDBW

Hmm, me thinks you're on to something there, but it is still not worth his time or money.

Default bov..... WHY?

you like the attention.... I'll get you a package deal on a big pointless wing that will slow you down and make you the center of attention at every ricey gathering.
