Has anyone else had hail damage to their A4 and did you take it to an Audi dealer for repair?

My A4 was pounded by quater size hail last week here in Maryland. The hood and trunk have a couple of dings but the roof got the worst of it. I can take the car to any body shop of my choice. I am debating on whether I should take the car to an Audi dealership or to an independent body shop to be repaired. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you dont have an extreme amount of dents, you may want to locate a "Dent wizzard" or a "fix a dent" type of service instead of going through a body shop. Usaully body shops call in their "dent guy" for this type of situation (depending on damage). On the flip side it my be cheaper to replace the/an entire panel. Overall you'll want to avoid a being overcharged w/a body shop fee AND a dent repair fee.
