Has anyone had any problems with brake noise using Mintex pads?

That would be any worse noise than the stock pads have? Ha!

Any/all advice is appreciated!

I had zero noise from the Mintex on my old A4...

They came with the ever-so-nice rubber-like backing, so no goopy squeal-stop needed.

Yup, noisier than stock, although its less than it was

at first. Next time I am trying Pagid (although not because of the noise, I want better bite).
