Has anyone out there done the Phillips HID kit AND switched to Euro HID housings?

PGP was probably talking about the hole for the ballasts on the bottom of the housing.
I just installed euro-xenon's and it was totally plug and play. I installed both lights and had them aligned in less than an hour. I was definately taking my time and had to re-did one side. I didn't hook up the city light, so there was no splicing. I just unplugged my old housings and plugged in the new one.
the hid housings have the ballasts on the bottom of the housing (where the square is on the non-hid housing). ALL wires for the ballast connect through the ballast through a hole on the bottom of the housing. PGP probably meant there would be a huge hole at the bottom of the housing because the philips ballast isn't the same size and shape as the factory housing.
Hope this helps.

to ask for. Are you saying that you installed the Phillips kit into the Euro housing or that you installed an OEM HID kit into the Euro housing? If you installed the Phillips kit, what was your feeling about the larger hole in the bottom? Was it something that could be sealed up in some way? Thanks very much for your response.
