Has anyone put on the OEM S4 sideskirts while keeping the OEM A4 lower door mouldings?

How do they fit and do the doors close properly?
I have been investigating side skirts with various suppliers (Oettinger, Rieger, JE Design, etc.), and I don't feel comfortable with the fit and finish of these after-market products. I live on Vancouver Island, and there are not many "tuned" Audi's that I can directly view and use as a reference in making my decision, so I am tending towards the OEM product. In fact I have yet to see an A4 with after-market side skirts in my city.
I also don't want to paint the existing lower door mouldings as I am of the mind the softer rubber mouldings won't hold the paint in the long term. Correct me if I am wrong on this.
I appreciate your serious and constructive thoughts on this matter as I have been tormenting over this for some time now.
