Default has anyone replaced their tie rods and is it difficult to do?

I am unable to get an alignment because both of my tie rods are shot. The left one is loose (adjusting portion has too much play) and the right one is frozen.

Anyway, this has NOTHING to do with the control arm issue and I am out of warranty.

If I am going to replace them, are there any aftermarket ones I should look at or should I just go with OEM parts?

Not difficult, but you will need alignment after that, my mechanic change them for $25

Default there is no recall on tie rods. The recall was for control arms... totally different part.

my tie rods are just worn... the car has 86k miles and has been lowered.

Default My 98.5 tie rods were recalled.

Dealer replaced and aligned my car during my normal 50k service.
