Has anyone successfully removed the lower control arms WITHOUT the special 3287a tool??

Yeah, it seems that the rears require the tool, but my left front is really stuck...
I was bending my 2 arm puller pretty good, as it cant' get a good angle on it... I guess I'll pony up the $100 for the tool..

same here - left front is stuck. do you think a standard tie rod puller might work?

It might, but the problem is you really can't get a square puler on there.. My 2 arm puller didn't..
even budge it, and I was afraid of breaking it..
