Default My door sills have STILL not arrived. I decided not to use the metal scuff plates.

I will see what the door sills look like without them and then decide. Page916 has done the conversion and he said he just turned the S4 plates upside down and just had blank metal.
Berry at Clair said you could get them with a Audi logo.

Default So what exactly is the difference between the S4 ones and the stock A4?

I'm talking about the side skirts. Also what did you do about the flexible black rubber lower trim on the bottom of doors? Does that get replaced as well with the S4 kit or did you have to have that painted with a flex-resistant paint?

Default The A4 does not have side skirts. The door sills overlap the rockers and the door trim does also.

The S4 has a diff. door trim(which I used).

Default Thanks. Questions now...

Do you know who's car this is? Also, do you know if he has the Projektzwo side skirts? It looks like it, although you are right - it is hard to tell. Anyway, considernig his car is black, if he does have the Projektzwo side skirts it works out better b/c the black, rubber, door moldings WOULDN'T have to be painted. That is why I am now against the Projektzwo sides and why I'm considering S4 sides.

Default Wait a minute...

>I will see what the door sills look like without them and then decide.<

OK...so you presently have ordered just those 2 kits from Clair w/o the scuff plates, right? So, don't you already know how the door sills look w/o the scuff plates? Am I missing something here? Do you have any pics w/your doors open, esposing the stock A4 scuff plate?

A bit confused,

Jeff

Default Yes, those are the Projektzo sides as well.
