Thanks. The compressor I have now won't fit in between the tight coils on top to compress enough.

Now do all blistiens have perches on the front, or just the Neuspeed/blisteins?

Can you see the different perches when everything is installed?

Default Here's a pic from Crizo's post a little further down the page. You move that clip to adjust the

height. The perch sits on top of this clip. In this pic the clips are on the lowest setting. And yes you can *see* the differenct perch settings when installed.

Default Neuspeed and AWE groove the shocks. You can also take them to a machine shop to get them grooved.

I don't think the Regular Bilsteins are grooved in the front and only allow the car to be raised in the rear.

Default I have that exact one

I think you will have a very difficult time trying to use it when the struts are on the car. The think is FREAKIN HEAVY...IMHO it is best used with the front stuts when they are upright in a bench vise. Mine works ok but I have trimmed the fingers down a bit (and added a notch for the rears). You just need too much wiggle room to get those fingers over the coils to be able to do it on the car.

Default Re: What was the problem? Didn't compress the spring enough?

That spring compressor was too big for me to get into the limited space. I was taking the stock non-sport springs out and replacing them with my koni coil overs. The thing was just all around too big for me to use.

Default I plan on removing the strut from the car, I just don't want to disassemble the front strut. Had

trouble removing the top nut when doing the install. I was wondering if this compressor will compress the spring enough to raise the perch. Thanks.
