Have any of you guys bought the 5point star security bits? If so, where'd you buy them from?

Default I'll give Pepboys a shot. Sears had no idea what I was talking about

Not to mention it was highly disorganized when I walked through there. Thanks!

Default Got a nail file?

Good luck! I wouldn't expect to find a 5 point just sitting around your local chain stores. Probably better off scouring the internet.

Default I hear that. Unfortunatly this is something I need out the door by tomorrow afternoon.

If I get the snapon number I can have it same day. But since their catalogue is like an encyclopedia, neither the Snapon dealer nor I can find it.

Default I could but no offense, I'm no hack when it comes to working on things.

Yes, if this was a situation where he was standed on the side of the road and had to leave today, I may consider it at the kids discretion, but I rather him wait another day till I can do the job right. I wouldn't do it to my car, let alone someone elses. Not going to lie, the thought did cross my mind!

Default Once I get them out, I just replace with regular screws. It doesn't matter to me when cars are off

warranty. But point taken on being meticulous with work and details, specially on someone else's ride.
