Have any of you guys bought the 5point star security bits? If so, where'd you buy them from?

I hear that. Unfortunatly this is something I need out the door by tomorrow afternoon.
If I get the snapon number I can have it same day. But since their catalogue is like an encyclopedia, neither the Snapon dealer nor I can find it.

Yes, if this was a situation where he was standed on the side of the road and had to leave today, I may consider it at the kids discretion, but I rather him wait another day till I can do the job right. I wouldn't do it to my car, let alone someone elses. Not going to lie, the thought did cross my mind!

for the maf screws i just used a pliers. it took awhile, but you can get the screws out...
without mangling them...its pretty easy.

Once I get them out, I just replace with regular screws. It doesn't matter to me when cars are off
warranty. But point taken on being meticulous with work and details, specially on someone else's ride.
