having battery problems
on monday and tuesday my voltage guage kept going from 14 to 12 and sometimes close to 8 while i was driving and the battery sign keep blinking on and off, didnt drive the car yesterday and today the battery died on my way to get a new one. Put in the new one and the voltage is at 12 and the battery light is on, could it be i have a bad alternator and if so how much can i get a new one for and is it a diy.
