Default Having a really tough time finding what socket size I need to remove sway bar. Boss bringing tools

for me to use before I got in to work tomorrow afternoon. I have nuespeed 19mm rear, but I think the bolts should be same size as any stock sport rear bar. Need the bolt/nut size for sway bar/links bolt, and the 4 bolts/nuts that hold bar to subframe. Thanks guys. I have been hearing a metal on metal squeel, but couldnt figure it out. Finally the actual sway link on the passengers side has broken (crappy plastic ones) so now the end of the bar actually rubs against the drive shaft (by right wheel)when I turn right. Ordering metal downlinks as we speak, but need to remove the bar until they come.

Default I think if you have 13,14,15, and 17mm wrenches and sockets and a 6mm hex bit...

you should be covered. Have a few fresh hacksaw blades handy for if/when the nut on the link doesn't come off. And don't forget to drive extremely easy like without it.

Default Okay, i was pretty srue 13 and 17. The nuts on link already froze up and were cut off when I put the

neuspeed bar on. So I know the bolts won't be a problem, still nice and shiny. Thanks for the warning, I've driven without it (when put neuspeed on after cutting off broken bolts, had to replace downlinks, ended up with crappy plastic ones for next to nothing) and know that it changes how the car drives entirely. Hopefully can just get it off until new links come.

Default What is the east coast parts place (good reputation like purems,) but closer to me in cincy.

I thought it was genuine audi parts or something. I remember the company name and the website being different.

Default Thats no good, lets hope all of mine are fine.. I might just remove links and tie bar out of way.

leaving the bar on the car would be easier if possible...
