I'm looking for two new sensors. I should be able to use a standard sensor for the front. Where is a good place to get it? I've tried Mike @ Vast, but he can't do Zoldman sensors for the AEB due to the different connector type.
The rear sensor wire needs to be 54" long, as I've relocated the second sensor behind my cat. It could be longer, but I'd have to tie up the extra wiring in the engine bay.
I've checked with PureMS, but they can't get me what I'm looking for. I'd prefer not to deal with ECS, and sure as hell don't want to get one fromt he stealership. I know others have relocated the second sensor behind the cat. Where did you get the sensor with the extra long wire at a good price?
Thanks.

All I had to do is wire it in to the old OEM connector. Using the universal Bosch o2 sensor also allows you to have more than enough wire to work with. You can cut the old o2 sensor off and have the length of the OEM wire with connector and the additional lenght from the Bosch universal wire that comes with the universal sensor. You have the AEB so you are able to use the universal sensors. I paid around $80 for the Bosch universal. The typical price of the Bosch universal seems to be $75-95. You may be able to find it cheaper than that. I bought mine from GPRparts.com, but that was a few years ago. Your local Napa or AutoZone should have the Bosch universal at a reasonable price.

Looks like I'll just order the universal from some website.
I don't know crap about wiring. Should I just cut the wire in the middle somewhere, match the colors of the wires, electrical tape, heat shrink it, and that's it?

Cut the OEM connector and splice where you wish. Mine had a kit supplied with the sensor for splicing. You can use butt connectors..I wouldn't just twist the wires together. It had directions also, but it is pretty much self expanatory. Here is a link to a more than reasonable price for the sensor you need. Good luck.
