Headlight Problem...advice please!!!
2000 avant with xenon and passanger side light won't level or adjust after hitting a small deer (not enough to do any damage to bumper)...dealer says adjustment motor is out and I have to replace the entire headlight assembly ($751)...are they right? I can't adjust the light with the manual screws, they just seem to spin. Any help is appreciated.

ask in the s4 forum, they all have HID lamps
and forest donkey are the worst man...
you really dont need an entire assembly and you can buy a pair of used HID housings here on AW for like $300 or less usually.

you may have dislodged the inner housing
a cheaper alternative would be to buy euro xenon housings for around 400/pair and swap all your hardware over to them. Or you can open up your headlight and see if it is anything you can fix w/ a little epoxy.
