Headlight problems

Ok.. i bought a 4 pcs headlight ( projector to replace my old stock ugly pre 98 lights.. problem is i dont have xenons... and the halogens is dimmer than hell...can see like 10 feet in front of the car.. what are my options , temporary of course so that i can raise some money to buy xenons.... can i adjust the high beam to lower aim? is that legal? and btw, the foglight is burning the crap out of the headlights? why is that?? i thought this is a plug and play headlight? ok.. i need your info now.. thanks!

ok so that is a 2 piece headlight.
On the 98 you had a 2 piece headlight that was a non projecotr housing.
Are you saying you got the 2 piece Halogen set , like the kind from LLTEK?
What bulbs are you using? It should be no dimmer than the oem 2 piece you had with the H7's

I bought the 2-piece headlights from a local re-seller...they are the real IN-PRO units straight from Germany (no english on the box or instructions)...
Anyway, they are much brighter than the old-school headlights (esp. with the Philips Vision Plus bulbs). But, they were aimed all the way down, so i could only see 6 feet in front of me. I used the Aiming guide at Daniel Stern Lighting (http://lighting.mbz.org/tech/aim/aim.html) to get the aiming almost perfect. I am very pleased with my e-codes, but im still going to upgrade to HID eventually.
