Clair sells headlight protectors for BOTH the 1996-1999 two-piece headlights, and they also sell the protectors for the 99.5 and later one-piece headlights -- which includes round covers for the fog lights.

My car is a 98.5, but I put Euro one-piece headlights on it. So I bought the protectors for the newer model.
Funny thing -- I was looking at the round discs, and I wondered what the heck they were for, since I don't have the 99.5-2000 fog lights on my car.

Anyway, the kit is actually made by X-Pel.
And the X-Pel part number is H2401A -- for the 99.5 and later Audi A4.
(I am looking at my packaging)

I cannot find my invoice or packing slip from Clair, so I do not know Clair's part number.
But go to Clair's website, and search for the headlight protectors for your model year car.

These were $32.

Or just call up Barry at Clair. He's very helpful.
