my girlfriend of over two years said to me " i'll buy you a K04 kit only if i get her THE RING" Now what she doesn't know is i have been shopping around for a ring to get a idea how much they are. so what im asking is should i take her up on her offer and never tell her?
P.S. i already said to my self she is the one for me before this happend.

Thats kind of lame, imo. Despite the fact that you were in the process of proposing anyway, do you really want to tarnish the moment by a K04 turbo. Skip the K04. Drop hints for it when its your birthday.

How much are the rings you're looking at... 5Gs, 10Gs... 15Gs? Fairness would say that a return purchase of 1/5 the value is a BARGAIN for her.

When my girlfriend gets her ring from me, I wouldn't scoff at the thought of her getting me a weekend a Pebble, or something of the sort.

The expectations in this situation are CLEARLY different between men and women.

I say... let the feminists have their way on this one... equality for all.
