There was some discussion here last week about heated mirrors being part of an option package and working when the rear defroster is on. At least on my 1.8T the heated mirrors are standard equipment -- they were listed as a standard feature right on the window sticker, and I do not have the winter package either. Also, they appear to be on either all the time or perhaps based on temperature. In any case, the rear defogger switch is not involved. This was verified by the braile method as temperatures have come down here recently.<p> Doug G<br> 1.8TQM in Michigan
