Heel/toe shifting...what is it?Why? and how?
#2
quick and dirty
heel-toe is the act of braking while hitting the accelerator. You do this when you downshift and is primarily used in racing although many people adopt it for the street. I do it all the time now.

I gotta ask you, how are you orienting your feet to hit the throttle
I've tried and the only way I can manage it is to place my heel and on the brake pedal and nudge the top of the accelerator arm with my toe.
Is this what you are doing?
If the Accelerator and Brake Pedal were the same height it would be a lot easier.

if you slam on the brake and the accellerator at the the same time..
yeah it doesnt appreciate that (although ive never done it, but thats just common sense). i have no problem heel/toe shifting with DBW. it does take a little getting used to because the throttle response is slightly delayed vs nDBW IMHO.

are there any pedals in the market that actually would help to level our gas and brake pedal for toe
