help with 3 button key remote..........
hi all,
can any one help? i have a uk a4 avant 1998. at the moment i have a 2 button remote. i have been given a 3 button remote that i can't seem to re-code, the battery is fine, i was wondering if i need to recode the pump? any ideas???????

there are two 3 button remotes.....
look at the transmitter codes. if this is a switchblade you'll need to seperate the key portion to find it. for the new remote to work the numbers must match except for the last 2-3 digits.
