Yea, I felt the same way. I know that they do have a tendency to break..
especially if your car has over 10k on it. I just never expected it to take so long to do, especially when I went to these guys becuase they had experience with perfomance exhausts on VAG cars.

If it's just the muffler, it shouldn't affect your acceleration all that much.
Can you gain access to the underside of the car? Any chance that they put a kink in the system during installation that might restrict flow? Were you able to inspect their work before driving away?

if there's tendency to break and they are expereince..
that means they should be extra careful, not have you pay for it, that's total BS, i'll find out what happend and then call better business bureau if they are that kind of shop

back from my garage...
As far as I can tell, all the pipes look straight and legit. I revved it up to about 6k for a bit, but it didn't change anything. At cruising speed, it almost sounds stock. Very quiet. Its when I give it throttle (even a little) it is loud as hell and instead of a deep tone, its a rasp. And under WOT it sounds like there is sand being blasted out the back of my exhaust. A horrible sound.
I honestly don't think this is the installers fault here....it must be a defective system from Borla. I just hope that I'm not hurting/damaging the turbo with this faulty system on there....I imagine with the decreased performace, its due to a constriction somewhere in the system, which must be putting excessive backpressure on the turbo. Not good.
