Default can't help over the computer and can't understand why people bother with cross drilled rotors

to each his own I guess but it seems a total waste of cash to me.

It almost sounds like the pads are rubbing on the rotor but its not constant

Default Second on the shields, but if not try driving it for a little and bed in the pads.

Also could be the pads are not in right, seated correctly. As others have said, hard to tell over the internet. Sorry.

Default Eh, It's kinda hard to seat the pads incorrectly.

Either they're in or they're not, or the caliper isn't going to fit in the carrier. Make sure the spring clip is in correctly though.
