Default Help! Car died last night

Was driving home when it started misfiring so I took it home and read the codes. I got the usual misfires on cyl. 1 and 3. I cleared the codes and started it back up and it seemed to idle ok. Checked the MAF readings and they were at all zeros. Took it for a drive and it started kicking misfiring like crazy and stuttering. I parked it in a parking lot and cut it off. Tried to cut it back on and NOTHING. I unplugged the MAF and still nothing. Got it towed back to the house. I scanned it again and got P1602 - low volgate, MAF code and 2 misfire codes. Any suggestions, please!!!

trace MAF wire harness, test with new MAF. Why do you have misfire codes?

I recently changed the o2 sensor and had lean fuel trim codes... I'm guessing MAF was the cause of the misfires but after doing some searching I'm seeing a bad ground wire might be the problem.

A bad O2 will never ever ever ever ever cause fuel trim issues. It will only cause O2 codes.

I had a low voltage issue recently on my 99.5 A4Q 2.8L, it was the ground strap from the engine block to the chassis which on the 2.8 is in the lower right front right where the alternator and starter are located. This happened after a fresh engine install so may not be the case for you but it's worth checking. In my case, I had power with key on but no click or anything when turning the key; tightened the bolt on the block side and no problems since.

I need to check my starter, Can I do this without removing it? and if I have to remove it do I have to remove my front end to get it out?

Okay, I was able to get the starter out without taking the front end off like the repair manual suggested. I got it tested and behold it was dead. I replaced the started and she started up. Shut her down and tried to restart and the battery was dead. I replaced the battery and she starts up but the battery light is now showing up. Alternator?? After changing the o2 sensor and MAF to clear those codes now I have this

18032/P1624 MIL Request Sign Active/Check TCM for Errors

does this have anything do to with me changing the battery?
