I had mine put in when I first got my car in 2001. It was the first with an Apr chip on a 2001.5 I had the same problem. They ended up giving me a new ECU with another apr chip. If you have a factory BPV it shouldnt be the problem. You more than likely got a bad chip. Your gonna have to go back. Pretty soon the check engine light will stop coming on and your car wont start thats what happened to me

audis4ed experience is an outlying condition. What you're describing sounds like an existing problem that is only being made worst by the higher boost pressure you're now running. Find out what the code is, work to resolve that issue, and hopefully, that will be the end of it.

I just got tired of replacing stuff with no improvement. I'm thinking of making another attempt in a couple weeks, but I'm so sick of it.

Ugh... looked through the vacuum lines and found a 1 inch cut in the "L" shaped brake booster vacuum line. (The one that goes from next to the throttle body straigh back, then a 90 left to some sorta check valve near the firewall.
Funny thing is, Niello "Replaced" this hose about 6 months ago... and I swear the hose is at least few years old... there's no way it's 6 months old. It looks like on the back side there's some black goop. I have a strange feeling that when this blew they didn't have it in stock (which, go figure, they don't today) and instead put some permatex on it and called it a day. (and charged AoA for the part). I'm having my wife pull up the paperwork but I found my post on here when they did that.
Part is (According to the Parts guy) 4B0 611 931 N
They wanted $45 for it... I called the other Audi dealer and it was $31.45, called the local VW in Roseville, and same price (even though it's and Audi-Only part, they can get it). Nobody has it in stock (other than an Audi Dealer in Pasadena...). I should have it on Weds. They showed 2 in ht eWarehouse, which they say "could mean anything".
I've done the 3M Tartan trick (Electrical Tape). I ran the car chipped today... running great... placed it back in "stock" mode until I replace the hose. (DO NOT want to lose brake boost).
I think this leak was there before, cuz my brakes had seemed to go fomr excellent to "okay" lately. I was thinking for having them looked at again... but this explains it.
Thanks to all... hopefully the part will show up.
This hose looks wimpy BTW... is there ANYONE making a better version... nice Silicone one or something?
