HELP - Dash lights don't work... Only signals, temp and that's it...!! Recent heater core job

The actual contact that the fuse was plugging into was pulled back. It made intermittent contact!
The way I found it was wiggling and pushing on all of the fuses.
Once I found the culprit I pulled it and voila! there was the problem.

I've encoutered the same problem on older audi's - Coupe Quattro's, 90's, 100's but not yet on the A4... I'm hoping that it could be that easy, but what I didn't mention was that I pulled that fuse out (for the cluster) and installed a higher amp fuse, just to see if I could hear any electrical short in the system...> Well that idea fried the cluster because I hear arking, then saw smoke from the dash.. LOL!!
I'll replace the cluster then figure out if there is another problem with the car...
