Default I guess I should've asked for a part number...

can I get just the fitting, or do I have to get the whole hose?...etc. etc. Also, do I need to worry about pressure in the fuel system when I take it off?

Thanks

Default My guess would be the whole hose. Im not sure about the pressure

but I guess you could open your gas cap to relieve it. Im not sure though.

The P/N is probably on the hose, but It looks like it might be N 10258201.

Default The PN is 4B0-201-541-C and it costs $68 at my local stealership and it won't be here until Thurs.

Decided to just walk 2 blocks and take the hit.

sounds like a plan. Anything I have to do to prime the system when I'm done?

Default

$4.95 for a foot of fuel injection hose and a pack of good hose clamps.

Default just turn the key to the acc position and wait for the fuel pump to prime

you can hear it. when it stops priming then turn over. I would do it twice for my own amusement.

Default Please let us know how long the hose you get is, and if it includes the fitting

I may need to get this too, as I saw it leaking out of the flare nut recently but haven't again.

No, there is nothing you need to do to prime the system; the ECU does that automatically just before activating the starter when you turn the ignition key.

BTW - If you let the car sit overnight, it is quite likely all residual fuel pressure will have leaked out through the FPR and/or check valve at that point.
