Help: just replace the high performance fuel pump: car with WOT sound like choke off.....

If you put in a higher flowing fuel pump are you not moving more
fuel which also means your raising fuel pressure during wot? With the stock fuel pump there might be a slight drop in rail pressure which the chip is tuned for, that means when you change that fuel delivery you get more fuel during that spot in the fuel map which then makes the car run rich. Just look at his car and how it is acting during wot.

That means there is too much pressure in the fuel rail with the new pump right?
Raise the rail pressure and you get more fuel thru your injectors. This means his fuel maps are no longer matched up to his fuel delivery and causing a rich condition. It would be the same thing as putting on a higher FPR or installing larger injectors without tuning the car.
