Help! -- my girlfriend put two gallons of lawnmower gas in my car!

My girlfriend "accidentally" put 2.5 gallons of nonoxygenated gasoline in my 1997 A4 1.8QMS (APR chipped), and then, upon realizing her mistake, filled the rest with 92 Octane. After about 100 miles, the car had intermittant stalling problems. At first, not knowing about the bad gas, I thought it could be the chip. Any similar experiences, thoughts, etc.? I am pretty convinced the stalling was gas related....because two tanks later...the thing runs fine.

You should get some water remover for gas from the autoparts place.
Then after that tank is used up - get a can of the Techron gas/injector/valve cleaner.
And do not drive hard till after these two tanks are used up.
Worst case is that the gas had dirt in it and you will need to replace the filters.

Just about any good auto store has this stuff that rice burners like to use. Its like 100-105 octane gasoline they use in real short races. Id recommend that to boost the octaneof the lawnmower gas in your audi. If its 2 cycle gas with oil added, youll smell oil burning in the engine till the tank is empty...so id just try to dilute it with premium . Then maybe run stop gas treatment through. Thats the most id do.
