Default Help needed ASAP! I am stuck removing the PCV breather hose

I dissasembled the entire hard plastic tube that wraps around the engine. I removed all the lines so that whole tube, t-peice, and breather hose are free. I removed that breather hose but a peice cracked and is stuck in the t-fitting.

how do i remove the entire assembly? It seems like it is stuck on a fuel/oil hard line and wont let me remove it.

Any tricks on how to remove the broken peice?

thanks!

Default rotate the t-housing with the valve facing down

and then press down and push the t-housing forward towards toward engine...
it's a tight squeeze, but it'll work). and then pull the t-housing off from behind the fuel line in the direction of the breather hose area.

Default Its not comming out

If I could avoid removing the whole damn thiing, that would be fine too. Its just the little tip of the plastic tube w/ the crazy bend that is stuck inside the t-housing. The inner metal part came out. I have been tugging at it for hours w/ pliers to no avail.

Default is there something inside the t-housing, or is it just a hollow T, where the 3 pipes meet?

I might just hack it up and buy a new one. I can barely rotate the thing, let alone pull it off... there is no room!

And how do you get that flexible line off of the t-housing. There is a clamp on the inside and outside. Do I just loosen the 2 and pull it out? I can barely even get to those 2 screws on those hose clamps!

Default there's a valve inside the t-housing. The hose connects to the valve and

there's a clamp over the hose. Then, there's another clamp that surrounds the t-housing to hold the valve in the t-housing.

you need to take off both those clamps, take off the hose,

and try doing what i stated in the above post to get the t-housing/valve out.

or... you can hack it up. it's only 20 dollars for the t-housing and valve at the dealership (i went to VW)
