help: is this part causing oil deposits on tb and intake plenum?
my idle has been all over the place so I pulled the PCV off (breather hose, suction pump, green valve, etc) to get to the TB/intake. Noticed some oil in the intake plenum and on TB. Pulled off the rubber gasket that sits between TB and plenum and saw a perforation.
is this the cause for the oil residue in the plenum? I bought a replacement gasket, 078129949C, but it also has a perforation in the same spot.
What else can I diagnose? I'm sure my idle will be more stable now that I've cleaned out the oil and the ICV.
