So now that the straight plastic tool that you're supposed to screw into the holes snapped in half rendering it useless, What's the best way to get the wheel on?
I'm guessing my dealer should just give me another tool, but if anyone knows any reason why they might refuse, let me know so that I'm prepared with some sort of rebuttal when I call them tomorrow. After this event, I think they ought to make those tools out of hardened steel.
Thanks

Shouldn't be more than a few bucks.
If I knew the bolt size, I'd say go down to your local hardware store, buy a long bolt of the same diameter/size, then grind the bolt head off. This should take any abuse.

This nifty tool keeps the rotor holes lined up with the hub holes, while you put the wheel on. This is particularly helpful on the front wheel since it doesn't have the parking brake on it. You really don't need it though. Have a foot handy to keep the tire from slipping off the hub, while you thread the first bolt.

I thought the plastic one would eventually break so I bought one from The Ultimate Garage. It hasn't failed me yet...
