On cold mornings, my engine makes this groan which is emphasized when I turn the steering wheel. After warm up the sound isn't quite as loud but it is still there especially after turning the steering wheel. I've concluded it is probably the power steering fluid being low or the steering pump being bad. Has anyone had this problem before? Costs? tia

Have you checked the fluid level yet?

going on. Just low fluid, had some added and groan went bye-bye, no big deal to fix. Hopefully that's all your car needs.
