I'm removing the nut that connects the sway bar to the link but the nut froze up on the bolt and I started loosening the bolt itself from the sway link. Is the bolt supposed to be unthreading from the link? I can't seem to tighten it back up. What am I doing wrong?

hard to remove it since the inside of the link, where the hex driver goes, strips so easily. Weird that you have the opposite issue with the link.
