Default try emptying the reservoir...

using a baster. then have suitable plugs ready for the hoses as you disconnect them.

Default what do you mean by 'suitable plugs'?

1. when you disconect the hose, wont be the coolant gushing all over (preasurize?)

2. do i have to bleed the coolant system when i am done with my job?

Default Remove the screws affixing the tank to the body. Then loosen the other end

of the hose that connects to the small nipple (that appears to be your leak source)from the upper radiator pipe. Place that loose end in a suitable container, loosen the tank cap and raise the tank up as necessary to drain it. Once replaced, top off the new tank, bleed the system and you should be good to go.

Default you release the pressure when you remove the cap...

do this when the car is COLD, like over night cold. there will be no pressure in the lines. just keep the open ends higher than their instaled positions. plug them with what ever fits. golf tee etc.
