Help!!...short shifter installation
I'm in the middle of taking out the stock shifter and i couldn't figure out how to take out the old shifter from the car. i already remove all the bolts like the instruction says.

On my '01...once i unbolted the main, threaded bolt...(6mm) near the bottom.
And after you take the big circlip off, it should slide right out. Did you take the circlip off? And the 6mm bolt out?

you want to get the rear of the shifter assembly(black plastic part) to rest over the metal console
portion, then push the top linkage connection over to the left and it should disassemble. and then pull it up and out =)
