Default HELP spring choice

after reading the posts, i finally decided to raise my car since it was too lowered and spring i used(intrax..sux) was too soft so that everytime i went over a pothole, the tire got jabbed by the fender. any suggestion for spring? thinking of getting H&R. btw, i have 98 a4 1.8t fwd. do you guys think maybe i should go for stock S4 springs? do you think it'll fit? (since S4's quattro and mine's fwd). Another concern is by changing the spring, will it actually raise my car? or just stiffened spring will prevent any further bouncing. at this point, i definitely wanna raise my car. btw i have bilstein shocks, but got it a couple of years ago. heard newer shocks are capable of changing the ride heights even w/o chaning the springs. any insight? thnx!!! oh one more thing, right now i have 17s, but changing to 18s in a couple of weeks. that's another reason why i wanna raise the height.

Also, about my bilstein shocks, i don't know if it's adjustable or not, how can i find out? if it's adjustable, can i just raise the ride height w/o getting a new set of springs?

ok, so let's say i can raise my height by just adjusting the shock. but would it get rid of the 'bounciness'? as i mentioned, my spring (esp. front) is too soft. i'm still undecided as to get new springs or...

Default The adjustable ones have grooves in them......

If you didn't order them that way, you don't have them. I'm getting a grooved set next week from pure motorsports. The grooves are 1/4" aprt from each other. Starting at sport suspension height and going lower iirc.

That I am not sure of. Springs aren't TOO costly, so it might not hurt to get em
