Default Help! Tips on removing collar bolt from the shaft?

I'm trying to replace the passanger side front outer CV boot, and the collar bolt refuse to come off.

I also tried to spary all sort of stuff on to the bolt, including PB blaster suggested here. Any other suggestion?

You have a good bit and a long breaker bar? And the car is on the ground?

Default Yes,and yes, The bit is actually quite strong...

and it holds its shape better the the collar bolt. As for the breaker bar, It's an average length one. And I didn't use full force on that. Afrid the bolt head won't hold.

Default Get a bigger breaker bar.... lefty loosy, righty tighty ;)

Just make sure it's on there good before loosening.

When I had to loosen the crankshaft bolt on my honda accord. I had a 4 foot pipe on a 2 foot breaker bar, with my cousin jumping on the 4 foot pipe And me holding the flywheel with the biggest flat screwdriver I could find.

Sometimes it just takes force. I doubt your collar bolt is that tight..
