Default Help: trying to decide btw the 2002 3.0 A4 or the 330ci (more)

2002 A4 3.0
A4 pros over the BM-stiffer chassis, 6-speed, nicer interior, more standard options(6 disc changer, dual climate control), cheaper overall, design is brand new and fresh (I actually like the new body) and of course quattro for the NE weather!

BM pros over the A4-faster car with more horses and torque, new model year glitches on the A4, A4 not here till nov-dec can get the BM now, BM is two door, 3 series is a beauty.

Any thoughts would be great...thanks

Default Why not the 330xi or 325 xi (AWD flavor)? Cost?

I don't know that you could make an intelligent decision without driving the Audi first. So either you wait to do a comparo, or get the Beemer now.

Default If you like the new A4...

Be the first on the block to have it! I personally dont like it as much as the current model. So I would go with the 330.

Default You can get a 330xi - but BMW is a new kid on the block when it comes to

all wheel drive. In addition, I don't think we know performance figures for the 3.0 A4, do we? Anyone?

Honestly, you can't go wrong with the Bimmer. They're great cars. But, wouldn't you prefer to get an awesome car and save $6,000? That's what you get with Audi.

Default IMO, it comes down to how important...

the Quattro is to you. I have the same choice of cars and I have decided to go with the 02' A4. 99% of that is due to the Quattro.

xi are too expensive compared to the a4 also quattro is better than BM's system (i think)

Default Yeah, but if I could get a RWD A4, I'd be all over it.

I only got Quattro because the other option was FWD.

I'm the opposite. I'd take AWD over RWD any day.
