Default Help! What does the malfunction light mean?
When I started my car today to leave school the malfunction light was on and it didn't go off. I don't hear or feel anything wrong with the car, what could this mean? Has anyone else had this happen to them? Any help or insight you can provide will be appreciated.

Default That you have a malfunction :)
If you mean the check engine light, but you feel nothing else wrong, you might want to try re-securing your gas cap and see if it stops bugging you.

mine came on. turns out i had some emmisions thingy go bad no biggie.

no emmisions component. exaust gas recirulation IIRC

with the vac on the gas tank these days, it IS an emmision component! :-)
