hesitation in higher gears

hesitation in higher gears
when I accelerate in third and higher midway through rpm band the car hesitates and bucks like crazy nothing shows up on the 1551 i changed the coil packs and the plugs anyone has any suggestions thanks.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I've done my best to describe it to people..........
and everyone just looks bewildered. I have APR chip and I'm 2001.5 so I keep hearing that maybe it has something to do with the VVT, but it happens at pretty much any RPM so I don't think that that is the problem. It's ashame, it ruins the chipping experience.
