Default it runs fine at idle up til 3k then after thatit missfires. It is only in cylinder 2 though

Which means it can;t be the coil pack correct? i think maybe it is the wire or the injector. I rulled out the plug because i just changed it. Any more idea of whatit may be? cuz after that o have no idea

Default I would suspect the wire...

any chance it's been manhandled...or hasn't been installed correctly? Are the wires on both banks equal length pairs...can you swap cylinder 2 with the mirrored pair to see if the misfiring moves?

Default I'm going to have to wait for a vag-com, but that sounds like something to try

Could it be the injector though? or woudl the injector not cause missfiring?

Default no...

its something related to the plug...
I suspected plug wire when I rode in it... you said they were new.. but it might be worth a shot to swap it out... bad wires can happen from the manufacturer.

how did the plug look when you pulled it?

Default plug was BLACK, ton of carbon on it.. I'm going to switch the wires

and take out my cylinder 2 wire and put in a stock one. Maybe then it will work. i'll go do it in a little bit. I hope it's the wire

You're using aftermarket wires?

Default Okay...let us know.

The CEL won't go away (you'll need the vag for that), but if the wire is the culprit, you'll notice the misfiring stop (assuming the original set was good...was it good when you removed it?).
