Default Use a Voltmeter to figure out which lines get "hot" when you turn the key to the accesory position.
You can find a relay panel in the driver's side lower knee bolster.

use wires from the sunroof. turns off after door locks and stays on when key's on

SuperchargeA4....what if i don't have a sunroof? Can i use wires from the interior lights?

Default Always check the FAQs, you never know what you might find.
I did this and it was very easy. IMO, much easier than spicling into interior lights or screwing around with a voltmeter<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec32.shtml">V1 Hardwire FAQ</a></li></ul>
