I was asking yesterday about a 1.8T A4 as a second car/wife's car, and well, I've decided that if I've gotta eat Ramen noodles for the next year, so be it. I am a BMW guy at heart, and am getting a new one, but I think A4 looks awesome and the 1.8T seems like a very fun engine. Anyway, back to the questions; I was wondering if some of you could post pictures of some modded (is that a word?) A4's. Also what shades of blue did Audi offer around '98-00 which would probably be about the model year we'd be looking for... Thanks for the help so far, I this is really a nice forum you have here.

Although partial to my brand of car, my dad owns an M Roadster, and I know the quality of car you're used to driving. You won't be displeased with Audi.
There are several companies which offer varying degrees of modification to the A4. At the top of your AudiWorld page, there appears the word "links." Click there, and go to the parts and accessories section. You'll find lots of people ready to help separate you from your money with fun products.
One small drawback that I see...while my dad was able to mod his M Roadster to Stage V using Dinan accessories installed by the dealer, many of the things we do to our cars are officially warranty-voiding. It seems that the majority of the people who have modified their engine programming have little or no trouble, but in fairness, you should know this in advance. The correct attitude (in my opinion) is that you know the facts before you modify, and stand willing to accept consequences.
Every Audi I've sat in (my 2001 A4, my dad's 2001 A8L, some guy in a parking lot's 2002 A4) has been a work of art.

Very nice colors, but swirl marks show so much ;( I modded mine. Ignore the ugly yellow lines and yellow parking block. I was at the parent's condo and was too lazy to find a scenic site.
