Hi, for those with H&R coilover, is it hard to adjust height by ourselves?

Hi, for those with H&R coilover, is it hard to adjust height by ourselves?
I jacked up the car, took off the wheel, and tried to untighten/readjust the height with the H&R coilover tools, but the two plates seems to be stuck. They won't move at all no matter how hard I tried. Am I doing anything wrong??
