Hmmm, I never did anything like that. If you dremel'd out the piece of metal that creates the beam cutoff, then very likely that's why yours appeared dim. <shrug> I dunno....heh

dremmel'd it out after i noticed they were dim but it still didn't make a difference. Sorry, didn't explain it in steps.
