The brightness is around 4200K, and uses 12.8v
is it alright to put it in? i think it uses 55w

They are just a blue tinted bulb so they look more like HID in color. Problem is that the blue tint actually acts like a filter and reduces the lumens that the bulb puts out so it is not as bright.
Standard H7's put out about 1400 lumens. High performance H7 55w bulbs can get up to 1700 lumens, but will sacrifice bulb life. The blue tint will knock even a high performance bulb down to standard bulb light output.
If your looking for a HID look then these will help with that, but if you want more light then get the Osram Rallye 65w high output. They use a H9 filament in a H7 bulb and put out 2100 lumens. The wiring, fuse, and headlamps can handle the the extra watts. Here you go: http://store.candlepower.com/osraulhiouh7.html
I should add that the Rallye's are technically not road legal in the states. DOT regs state 55w max for low beams, but unless a inspection removes the bulb to read it they will never know.

ddm 55w kit.. did that a few months ago, bright as ****. everyone on the road hates me, but at least i can see them now. don't mess around with expensive tinted bulbs, its really not worth it. tinted bulbs are just that. any tint on them makes the light output less. i did the 5k on the 55w and they are pure white. the extra power washes out the color, but from the side they have a hint of blue.
