High pitched screech from front end when turning right
Just had my upper front (and rear) control arms replaced on my 2000 A4 1.8TQ.. didn't notice it until today (repair was on Friday) but I'm hearing a rythmic screech/panging sound when turning right. I can turn the wheels to my hearts delight @ idle with no sound, but when driving I'll hear that sound throughout a hard right turn. I'm planning on heading back to my mechanic on Monday, but I'm wondering if its ok to drive it over there (10 miles).
any thoughts? Probably an issue with the control arm installation? Unrelated?
thanks!

Problem Solved
Problem solved: heat shield was bent when the front driver side wheel was reinstalled. My mechanic happened to be @ the shop today, and corrected the problem, so everything sounds fine now.
