higher octane fuel = louder?
i just put in a whole bottle of octane booster into a full tank of gas. now it seems like the car has gotten alot louder and when i turn on the ignition it feels like the car shakes more.. any need for concern?

Nope. Higher octane fuel (fuel with a higher anti-knock rating) simply is less likely to detonate. You don't want fuel to detonate under high pressure prior to spark (pinging), this is bad news. Other than that, the higher octane fuel doesn't mean very much.
At a certain point, you'd have trouble getting the fuel to explode at all, and I suppose you'd have a really quiet car at that point since it wouldn't start... but we're talking about octanes much much higher than you can buy at the gas station.<p>--
