hit curb and now aire seems to be leaking between tire and rim, no visible gap... help!
I ended up running into a curb with my right front wheel because I couldn't tell where the hell the road was. FYI I was making a left turn if you wanna know the wheel angle. other than a bunch of scratching on the outer edge of the rim I don't see any deformation. I did take the tire off and placed it so the back was to the ground (yes I know you're supposed to store em upwards) and some of the snow melted and was bubbling in a specific spot, so I assume that's where the leak is.
btw, the tire only deflated about half way and then stopped leaking, so as it got flatter it created a seal again. Also, the tire did not leak when a certain point of it was on the ground.
I'm wondering, is there any way I can shape the rim back? I wouldn't even know whether to hammer in or out. would simply remounting the tire on the rim get rid of the problem?
p.s. i did fully hop onto the curb, I didn't just scrape it.
thanks for any help
