Hit or Skip painted rings on my RS4 grille?

I got a kamei grill from a friend and since it matches the blacked out chicken wire shiet that came with my bumper, I installed it. Matches perfectly and looks pretty sick. You need the matching rs4 look lower grill mesh that Andy Sprague sells.

Id go with the painted rings, i think it looks better. I did that on mine, i also painted the outer part of the grill black as well. It looked pretty good.

Mine are aluminum color to match the RS4 grill surround. I think it looks way better than chrome.
(I know my intercooler inlet pipe is jacked up.)

Actually I have custom rings now.. the paint thiner used to take the paint off took the chrome off as well.. so they look like rings crafted from an old WW2 fighter plane. =)
